Also known informally as Antonio’s Upstairs in Maitland, Antonio’s offers a great atmosphere along with a view of Lake Lily. The food as always is excellent and will be sure let every mother know that they are special. Antonio’s also has a location in Celebration on the south side. Open for lunch and dinner.
Armando’s Italian

Armando’s took over the old Hot Olives space off of New England in Hannibal Square and totally refurbished the place. Its a sharp looking place and Armando, the owner, ensures that his food is in fact top notch. Afterwards you can take a stroll down Park Avenue and New England. A great environment for families and to meet up with family. Open for lunch and dinner.

Two locations, two great restaurants, one on the North side in Winter Park and one on the south side off of Sand Lake Road. The food is great, steaks are great, the lighting is perfect, and there is an extensive wine list. Open for lunch and dinner. Its great for a more formal celebration for Mother’s Day in the Orlando area.

Okay, so Ravenous Pig might not sound like a restaurant for Mother’s Day, but we have to face facts. Women love this restaurant. Guys love this restaurant. Every Mother is also sure to love this restaurant. The food is terrific and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. You can’t go wrong here.

The mother in the family can really feel like the top Mom in town when you go to the Grand Bohemian Hotel. It’s a luxury hotel and it’s downtown. You roll up to the entrance and you’re greeted with fancy cars, the lobby looks like a modern art museum, there’s a great bar with live music and the food is excellent. It’s a great Mother’s Day choice for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Dexter’s has 3 locations: one in Orlando, one in Lake Mary, and one in Winter Park, so it’s a great pick because anyone from anywhere in the Greater Orlando should be able to reach one within a reasonable amount of time. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good, so Mom’s will be pleased and families will be pleased. There is typically outside seating available which is great if it is not too hot out. If you decide to go out for Mother’s Day Brunch, the menu includes Bloody Marys and Mimosas along with an array omelets and Dexter’s Eggs Benedict. Dexter’s is also a great and inexpensive option for Mother’s Day lunch or dinner.

Conveniently Brio Tuscan Grille has 2 locations on different sides of Orlando. One in the Winter Park Village off of Orlando Avenue (17-92) and one off of Conroy Road at the Millenia Mall in South Orlando. Brio Tuscan Grille does a great brunch Italian style, which is pretty much like the American style except fancier with better sounding names. Eggs Benedictano, Bistecca and Sweet Potato Hash, Bacon Egg and Fontina Panini are all items that can be found at Brio. For lunch and dinner they serve all sorts of terrific flat breads, salads, pastas, and other Italian specialties. Plus both locations offer outside seating for when the Florida weather is just right and you want to sit outside. In addition to outside seating, both locations offer shopping opportunities after dining in. So you can combine the two activities for a more complete day of leisure. Restaurant opens at 11am.

Want to go all out for Mother’s Day in Orlando? If you really want to go all out, then La Coquina is the brunch place for you. They’ve been doing it for over 20 years and they get rave reviews from everybody……..no seriously everybody. The price point is at around $60 a person. Is it worth it? Absolutely! Are you going to do it every weekend? Probably not, but for special occasions or for visitors out of town……it is terrific!
