Lakeridge Winery
Welcome to Lakeridge Winery, Orlando’s answer to wine culture. Sure its in Clermont and a bit out of the way, but we’re in Orlando, when is the last time you went somewhere without a little traveling? The Lakeridge Winery is an old fashioned winery based out of the Clermont area, right next door to Orlando. At Lakeridge you’ll find tons of acreage of vineyards plus a large production and storage facility with a retail shop. When you do stop at Lakeridge, don’t just stop for wine sampling or purchasing.
Take the tour if you’ve never been on it before. Tours take place all day and every day and start about every 15-20 minutes and takes about 45 minutes all together. During the tour you’ll watch a 12 minute video on wine making, the history, and production at Lakeridge. You’ll also be able to check out the production facility, tour some of the vineyards, and sample some of the wine (the best part!) at the end of the tour. In addition to selling wine, the retail shop sells crackers, cheeses, foods, wine accessories, and other products that you would expect to be at a wine shop. Its a great outing for those living or visiting the Orlando area and its definitely one of the more unique finds in the area.

Special Unlocked Tip: Try to go on a day when its not to hot because the wine tour does venture a little bit outside. Also don’t plan on having a strict schedule. Take some time to hang out, enjoy yourself, and sample the wine without worry about having to soon drive a car to your next destination.
