Lowndes Shakespeare Center
Who said Orlando has no culture? We have not only Shakespeare, but an entire Center dedicated to Shakespeare. Located in Loch Haven Park, near the Orlando Science Center, the Lowndes Shakespeare Center offers not only Shakespeare Theatrics, but all kinds of professional theater. The Orlando Shakespeare Center, in conjunction with UCF, hosts mainstream performances, Broadway shows, popular story lines formed into plays and also hosts new plays that are developed within the Center. The general public can also take advantage of educational opportunities, courses, and special events found at the Shakespeare Center. Its a great addition to the Loch Haven area located where the “old school” version of the Orlando Science Center was once located.
