Orlando Jai Alai

Want something low key where you don’t feel like running into anyone you know, Orlando Jai Lai will provide that opportunity for you, and it will get you some entertainment as well. If you’re not familiar with Jai Alai, it’s basically set up as a huge indoor stadium on facing what looks like the largest racquet ball court you’ve ever seen. On the court, Jai Alai players will hurl a ball about the size of a soft ball while using a long scoop-like contraption against the wall and other players catch the ball and do the same thing or a variation of that. The game realistically is easier to explain by simply showing it to someone in person. Bets can be placed for as little as a dollar a game.

Beer and food is served and is also a great deal as they clearly make their profits on the betting. While the ball can travel at well over 100 miles an hour in some instances, and they have some great bullfighting type music, one might have trouble getting into the game unless they bet some money on each game. You can go by yourself, but you might have more fun as a group. Orlando Jai Alai can be found, not in Orlando, but in Casselberry just North of Orlando. Anyone outside the state would consider it Orlando anyways.
