Osceola Heritage Park

While Orlando is not known for being the sports mecca of the country, we have a lot more to offer than most recognize.  In fact many professional sports teams use Florida as a training ground for their upcoming seasons. For example, the Houston Astros have spring training down here in Orlando at the Osceola Heritage Park, just south of Orlando. Crowds of people attend, parking is readily available and there’s lot of music, food, and alcohol just as there would be at any regular professional baseball game.  The games don’t go for or against any teams records, but for the baseball fans, you’re seeing the professional teams play a professional game.  And it’s a great benefit of living in Orlando. Locals can visit them at the Osceola Heritage Park.

Special Unlocked tip: The Kissimmee Baseball Stadium is a real modern stadium and while the sun can be bright and hot in the spring, the upper 6 to 8 levels are shaded, so you might want to try and score those seats for those games in the afternoon heat.
