Bar-BQ Bar, Eye Spy, Sky 60

Bar-BQ Bar, Eye Spy, and Sky 60 are different bars located in Downtown Orlando off of Orange Avenue.  However, when you go there in the evenings they’re all connected to one another, so the Unlock Orlando Club Squad decided to put them on the same page for your convenience.

Bar-BQ Bar

Bar-BQ Bar you can spot right off of Orange Avenue.  You’ll be able to see in the bar and there is a roped off section outside to separate it from the sidewalk so you’ll be able to see part of the crowd before you enter.  Its a great place for cheap drinks and jukebox music, but you’ll see that bar is enjoyed by many in the grunge and hipster crowd.  Its got a large bar with writing on the walls, but its also got a lot of booth seating where you and friends can sit down, drink, and people watch.  While its a strong possibility you might spot some club goers that you wouldn’t want to sit next to on an airplane, drinking beside them is no big deal and actually a lot of fun.  If you walk toward the back of the club and make a right at the bathrooms you’ll find the next bar, Eye Spy.

Eye Spy

Eye Spy is a great bar atmosphere with two sections, an indoor and an outdoor section.  Inspired by secret agent movies and shows such as James Bond, Eye Spy attempts to simulate some environments where the world’s coolest spies would want to party.  In the outdoor section its more of Island bar scene with a deck and tropical bar area, lots of trendy dance music is often played both current and music from the last few decades.  As you walk inside you’ll find a trendy bar with different sections, some slightly hidden in order to pose more as secret passages within the bar.  From one angle you see a door that says employees only, but as you watch closer you find that its in fact another party area of the bar behind the door.  There is also another entry way into Eye Spy off of Washington Street where you can enter the bar directly through some shady alley way next door to planet pizza…………..not to worry, its part of the spy motif, they made it look shady on purpose.  You’ll never know for sure what you’ll find at Eye Spy, but its always a good time and a great way to diversify your night out in Downtown Orlando.

Sky 60

Sky 60, also written as Sky Sixty is part of the chain and is a rooftop bar, several stories high, overlooking Downtown Orange Avenue.  Downtown clubbers love it for its upscale and ultra lounge feel.  There’s a large bar a few steps up from the dance area plus more intimate cabanas with plush seating  on the side and comfy seats where where patrons can overlook Downtown Orange Avenue and watch people below.  Sky 60 also has a great “Big City” almost South Beach feel to it, so its different from many of the other nightclubs downtown.  You can access Sky 60 by a small open door with someone checking ID’s to the left of Bar-BQ Bar and you can also find the stairs up to Sky 60 through the Eye Spy bar.
