In the heart of Baldwin Park you’ll find Caddy Shanks Virtual Golf and Sports Pub. It’s a large sports bar with plenty of television sets, food, and alcohol. However the difference between Caddy Shanks and other bars in Orlando is they have taken adult gaming to another level. Games include virtual golf, race car simulators and much more. There are also dart boards and pool tables for patrons to use while they are having a good time. The bar has kind of a golf club theme to it, but essentially it’s a sports bar. The virtual golf is a huge hit as it allows players to do an actual golf swing in front of a large screen displaying the course in front of you. While it’s not the real thing, it’s pretty close.
Caddy Shanks is located right on New Broad Street in the center of Baldwin Park, which means it’s pretty accessible for those in the Central East Orlando area. On the first Friday of each month, Caddy Shank hosts an event ironically called “First Fridays,” which is a special Happy Hour from 6pm-10pm and they have food and drink specials during that time, along with a D.J. playing music and normally special event sponsors giving away stuff for free. Caddy Shanks also hosts trivia events on Tuesdays each week where teams compete in trivia for prizes. Mondays is poker night and Wednesdays are ladies night. Caddy Shanks is more of an upscale sports bar, so you won’t need to worry about finding any shady people that you wouldn’t ever want to sit next to on the bus. If you’re looking for a casual way to spend the evening and throw back a few drinks, come out to Caddy Shanks.
