Johnny’s Fillin’ Station and Johnny’s Other Side

Johnny’s Fillin Station is a casual dive bar like establishment off of Michigan Street just South East of Downtown Orlando. It’s a sports bar, but also an informal place to hang out with family and friends. The food and beer and always priced well and the hamburgers have many times been rated some of the best in the city, appearing first place in Orlando’s best type rating contests where locals submit their favorite burgers in town. The other typical bar fare can also be found including tater tots, onion rings, potato skins, nachos plus they have more substantial food like salads, sandwiches, fish and steak.

If you’re looking for the food, but not the sports bar type atmosphere, you can hope across the parking lot where you’ll find Johnny’s Other Side. Johnny’s Other Side serves some of the same food, without a lot of the noise from the sports bar. They have some indoor seating, but most of the seating is outside which is great for when the weather is nice. Often times Johnny’s Other Side is used to host bands, special events, and brunch is also served on the weekends if you’re more of a bacon and eggs person.

It’s basically two great establishments on one piece of property. It’s a local place so the prices are always kept reasonable and the people are always friendly. It’s the neighborhood joint that everyone wants, but not everyone can have.
