The Red Fox Lounge

Want to turn an average and boring evening into an evening that you’ll never forget?  Head to the Red Fox Lounge in Winter Park, just minutes North of Orlando to turn a low key evening into one that you’ll talk about for days after. The Red Fox Lounge is small local bar located in the Best Western Hotel on 17-92. It’s a cozy and intimate bar, but what makes each evening one to talk about is its star attractions Mark and Lorna who sing and dance while playing the electronic keyboard and banging their tambourines.  Want to sing and dance with them?  Go ahead, they might even invite you to perform and sing with them….anything goes.  In one of the major tourism Meccas of the world, this is one place that you’ll never see advertised in any tourism brochure. 

In fact, you could drive right passed the place and never know it’s there.  You have to hear about it from a local; another unlocked secret of Orlando.  And you’ll find it’s refreshing to see performers that simply sing and dance for the love of it.  Sure, some might find it a tad cheesy, and others will be reminded of their crazy aunt and uncle that broke out singing and dancing at their last family reunion.  But at the end of the day Mark and Lorna provide an eye opening night of entertainment.  The duet was even parodied on a Saturday Night Live Skit so they’re practically famous.  They may not necessarily be the ultimate singers or musicians in the land, but they might be some of the most unique and fun entertainers you can find in the Orlando area.  You literally have to see it to believe it, and you will tell all of your friends about what you saw, and we do mean all of them.

Special Unlocked Tip: On Friday and Saturday evenings try to get there by 9 p.m. to make sure you can get a table.  After that, they go quickly.
