Cask & Larder

The owners of the Ravenous Pig restaurant in Winter Park, James and Julie Petrakis are set to open up a new concept called Cask & Larder. Cask & Larder will be a Southern inspired restaurant that will also serve hand-crafted beer. The hand-crafted beer will be also be sold in kegs and in take-out containers. Cask & Larder will also follow the Ravenous Pig tradition of serving the best ingredients, from local farmers and businesses whenever possible. The restaurant will serve Florida fish and seafood along with other one-of-a-kind items. Cask & Larder will be opening up in the old Harpers Tavern/Boathouse location in the Winter Park area right around where Orange Avenue and Fairbanks Avenue meet. It will be across the street from Fiddler’s Irish Pub.

The Harpers Tavern space is almost 6,000 square feet and the space will allow Cask & Larder many options in terms of the food and drinks that are served and the events they will be able to cater to. The name Cask & Larder refers to two different meanings. Cask standings for the type of beer the bar will be making and Larder is another name for Southern Pantry. Construction on the new facility shown below starts in March and the Petrakis family hopes Cask & Larder will be open by sometime in August 2012.

Cask & Larder will be located at:
Cask & Larder
565 West Fairbanks Ave
Winter Park, FL 32789
