Museums
In the land of the tourists, its amazing to some that the Orlando area actually has museums. Its true! We have lots of them. Museums like Loch Haven and the Cornell Arts Museum focus on national and international types of cultures and art while museums like the Polasek Museum, the Zora Neal Hurston Museum, and the Morse Museum focus on individuals of a historic nature that once had a strong connection to the Orlando area. Most of the museums in town focus on local Orlando history such as the Orange County Regional History Center or the Maitland Historical Museum. The museums on local Orlando history are fascinating to most people, simply because most people are in disbelief that people actually lived here before the theme parks were built. Orlando, you’ve come a long way baby!
