The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is a collegiate fine arts museum, located on the campus of Rollins College in Winter Park, which is a great place to walk around and enjoy the architecture in its own right. The museum houses over 5,500 works of art including paintings, prints, sculptures and drawings. Featuring artists include Winslow Homer, Albert Bierstadt, Pablo Picasso and Henrí Matisse. Some of the art is ancient and some of it is from modern times. The Cornell also hosts different exhibits and gallery talks on a rotating basis each season. Because the Cornell is located at Rollins College, the oldest collegiate institution in Florida, there is a lot of history to look at architecturally as you walk to the museum as some of the buildings have been there since the early 1900’s.
