The Orange County Regional History Center


At the Orange County Regional History Center you can see pictures and learn what Orlando was like 100 years ago, or even 50 years ago before Disney World and other development came into play.  There are exhibits displaying Orlando’s natural environment and those featuring Orlando’s progression into the present. Those who think they know Orlando, might be surprised by the history of Orlando.  Learn Orlando’s history in regards to citrus, aviation, military, tourism, different cultures, and much more. Traveling exhibits are also featured at the Heritage Museum, some that are related to Florida and some that are fun exhibits in general.  After visiting the museum, you can walk around downtown and visit local restaurant s and bars. Parking can be found nearby at local parking garages or on side streets where metered spots are generally free on the weekends and after 6 p.m.

10 a.m.-5 p.m., 7 days a week

Admission:

Adults $12, Seniors $9, Students $9, Children ages 5-12 are $7, children under age 4 are free (so bring the kids in while they’re under age 4)
