CityArts Factory Orlando

CityArts Factory a collection of art galleries which displays a mix of both local and international art. Much of the art is in the form of paintings and photography, but there’s also a large sculptor element found there as well. Its downtown Orlando’s answer to artistic culture. One of the greatest benefits is that having all this artistic expression in galleries downtown actually gives Orlando a larger city feel. There are several galleries including the Orlando Magic Gallery and the Lee James Floral Gallery. CityArts also has an Art Cafe on the first floor where visitors can enjoy coffee and pastries before or after touring the center. Its also the same building where you can find SAK Comedy Club. The artwork is rotated on a monthly basis so you can continue to visit the CityArts Factory often and see different things. Admission is FREE Tuesday through Saturday from 11am- 6pm. The CityArts Factory also hosts an event called Third Thursdays or 3rd Thursdays where all the galleries are opened up from 6pm-9pm and visitors from all over the place visit to chat with friends artists and its a huge get together. For those who have always wanted to see CityArts, but have never been……….the third Thursday of every month is a great time to.

Special Unlocked Tip:

The CityArts Factory will validate parking for visitors at a flat rate of $4 per day, if you park at the Plaza Parking Garage (The one with the movie theater on Orange Avenue between Pine and Church Street). You need to bring your parking voucher to the welcome desk to get it validated and it will just be $4, otherwise the rate in that garage is expensive.
