Theme Parks

Theme Parks are a big part of Orlando. For some reason there is national assumption by visitors and future visitors that Orlando residents visit Disney World or Universal Studios every weekend, simply because it’s in our back yard. Orlando residents have no clue where this notion came from, because after all we work, go to school, and have other things to take care of just like everyone else. While Orlando residents do get to visit the theme parks on occasion, one thing is certain. The people in the Orlando community always consistently support all the theme parks as significant growth factors in the area. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World are among the largest theme parks in the Orlando area. There are also many other theme park attractions and venues that have sprung up as a result of the presence of the larger theme parks. The residents of Orlando, when they are not working, enjoy the theme parks when they can. They help their out-of-town friends and relatives navigate the best parts and go with them as local guides if they can. Enjoy the local theme parks and have fun!
