If you’re looking for events to do this Christmas and holiday season these activities will definitely get you off to a great start. Prepared by Orlando locals and natives, these activities will be great for the holidays and will help add to your overall holiday fun.

What: Harry P. Leu Gardens Holiday House
Where: Harry P. Leu Gardens 1920 N. Forest Avenue, Winter Park, FL
When: Now through January 4th, 2012
If you want to feel like you’re in a traditional Christmas setting, take yourself out to visit the Leu House at Harry P. Leu Gardens. You’ll not only be able to tour Leu Gardens with Orlando’s terrific Winter weather, but you’ll be able to check out the Leu Garden house all decked out in full Christmas attire. See how folks celebrated Christmas decades ago. Located at 1920 N. Forest Avenue, Winter Park, FL 407-246-2620. House tours begin every hour and at every half hour. This event goes through January 4th.

What: Baldwin Park Festival of Lights

On December 10th Baldwin Park Orlando is hosting its very own holiday celebration including a parade, music, face painting, and even carriage rides. Its a great time to hang out with friends and family along with the cozy atmosphere of Baldwin Park. You will find the event toward the Village Center off of New Broad Street, Orlando, FL. What: Light Up UCF
Where: Knight’s Plaza UCF, building 50 on North Gemini Blvd., Orlando, FL
When: Now until January 1, 2012
Admission: Cost depends on activities
Light Up UCF is the University of Central Florida’s way of recreating the Winter Holidays, Florida southern style. Because Orlando is the city of magic, if we don’t have enough snow for ice skating……………..we build an ice skating rink anyways! Not only will you be able to enjoy outdoor ice skating at UCF, but there will be light shows every night along with rides and other attractions near the Knight Plaza. There will even be an arctic slide that you can ride down 100 feet! What: Morse Museum of Art Holiday Celebrations
When: December 1, 2011 at 6:15 p.m.
Where: Central Park, on Park Ave. Winter Park, FL
Admission: FREE
The Morse Museum of Art is bringing out its Tiffany Collection of Windows for display. Nine Windows from the Morse Museum will come out from the collection to kick off this outdoor lighting event in Central Park, Winter Park.

Check out ICE at the Gaylord Palms Resort where you’ll find almost 2 million pounds of ICE constructed to produce a Christmas and Icy Wonderland. There will be igloos, a slide, and plenty of ice-shaped sculptors to check out. Best of all, ICE will be featuring DreamWorks’ Shrek the Halls exhibit based on the story Shrek.

What: The 12 bars of Christmas Pub Crawl 2011
